Idaho Coyote tempting fate!
« on: December 15, 2011, 02:48:23 PM »

This was one of several Copper Basin, ID coyote I called in close (cottontail distress). You can see he'd already figured out I was only planning on shooting wolves, so he just stood there and let me take the picture. LOL. That little guy was not more than 40 yards from me. Beautiful animal isn't he?

These 3 mulies were laying in the sagebrush about 100 yards from me and jumped up and ran right to me when I lit up the caller. I made like a black hole and managed to get several photos. The 3rd one is off to the right.

This mulie carcass was courtesy of wolves. I actually found it because I saw several ravens flocked up. Wolves are decimating the wildlife herds. This one was in the Pahsimeroi Valley area.
District 2 but will hunt anywhere, even my home state of MD.
