Thanks! I got lucky with this doe. I passed her up at 9 yards because I thought she was to young. I seen her size compared to other deer and knew she was mature but she walked away. I watched all the other young deer leave and she started heading back passed me again. I had to hold on her for 25 seconds because she turned towards me but as soon as she turned broadside , I released. She was around 11 yards and still was able to turn fast enough to make the exit wound extremely far back. I thought the show was good so I waited 25 minutes before getting my arrow. From the sign on it I thought she'd be dead. Well, I jumped her 10 out of the field but I continued. Just when I was heading back to get my headlamp, I found her 10 yards off the road. Talk about lucky. There was no dragging at all.
