How deep is the snow
« on: February 12, 2015, 10:06:49 PM »
I am thinking of getting in the Mosquito creek hunt.
I would like to hunt up north but I am hearing if it is not a plowed road you can not go down it.
What is it like in your area?
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Buckwheat, My son lives in the NW part of the state, 10 inches and crunchy as hell. k-9's can walk on top of it but its not hard enough to hold an adult.

I don't think it's good up there.  My buddy said they had 20" in Sinnemahoning.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

Stop hijacking my question with crap. Take the political stuff to another link.
I am interested in facts on snow fall so I can plan a hunt.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Weather prognosticators guessing at 1-5" of snow followed by high winds. Be the first of the week till anyone can give a good update.
