New To Forum
« on: February 07, 2012, 10:29:56 PM »
Hello to all. Just wanted to say hi to all. I am new to coyote hunting. I caught the bug when I caught one trapping this year. I just put a Howa 223 in layaway, bought a js 512 e caller(its not new but sure it will work), got some mouth calls. Bought some coyote hunting videos and have watched them several times. I have got alot of properties that say they have seen and hear them at night. By chance is there any coyote hunters here that would be willing to take me out hunting coyotes and give me some tips or helpful info. I live in erie/crawford county.
Thanks
Howie

Glad to have you, Just watch in the videos, they're usually out west which is a different hunting style than these PA yotys. I'm quite a ways away from you though cant help on the taking you out part.

Jimmy_72  I live in crawford county. I would be willing to get together for some yote huntin'  My regular hunting buddies don't get into predator hunting. So usually I'm stuck hunting solo. Would be fun to try some double teaming.  ;D

Welcome aboard the crazy train.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

If you own the property set up a bait site and camera.  If they are around they will come.
