Last red fox

Had a farmer call me and say he heard a fox barking so I did a double set with dirt holes and caught this male.

I never had so much of a fox's leg in a trap....he must have been very enthusiastic about stomping on the pan.

Nice way for you to end the season, I also shot my last red fox for the season tonight also. As I expected it,s was rubbed pretty bad, but I had to shoot just one because it is a long time until next year. :-)
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.
