Congratulations Mike on the coyote.

As far as the TRD goes, if you don't have pictures of the mud on it, it didn't happen!! ;D ;D ;D

That is is great, I can not even find coyotes to hunt in March.

Mike, ya done good, like Ernie said March is a tough hunt. They are either nursing pups or soon to be nursing pups, extremely difficult to call.  Very territorial this time of year, trolling dogs seem to be the answer.  I picked up a two year old rescue lab just a few weeks ago and hope to use her as my coyote dog.  Not like the hound guys but as an extra set of eyes, hearing and smell.

Still waiting for the initials.

Thanks guys, always feels good to pull the trigger on one. CoyoteJohn, u are correct on them being very territorial right now. February and March I only use howls and that male yesterday came lookin for me from howls on the Icotec.  Also, not the first I've called in using howls this past month, just never got a shot.

Apparently you know what you are doing and are definitely not a slacker!

Knife ordered with MTZ on the blade, I should have it within a week or so.

I've been hunting them hard this month.  Some days I get vocal responses but don't see anything.  Other times I don't hear or see anything.   I thought maybe the Misquito Creek hunters have them spooked.   Still a few more days left.  I'll be out there trying!!

For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.
