No worries
there's always after Christmas
maybe you can con Jeremy into taking you out 1 day for meat
instead of just a walk in the woods

I'll be checking what's on the farm when I'm trapping and maybe the smoke pole will come out this year..

I plan on going on Monday "Davy Crockett style"....there is a legal crippled 5 point on the farm that looks like it was hit by a car...
If I can find it I'll put it out of it's misery since it can only hop...something wrong with the right hip and the hoof just flops when moving....
It will be a trophy anyway

I can't believe your going to let that "Tar Heel" get away with that insult
...............Team Jaspr1 is on a "mercy Mission" to cull a poor injured creature from the forest
I laud your efforts!!!!!!! as should every decent ,civilized!
, sportsman..........put your life jacket on "unsinkable" your going to need it.................

Blind crippled or crazy.
..they all taste the same.
...my only concern is if it's all blood bruised...
saw a bunch more on the farm, but this one is a priority

Well I'm back
the buck gave into his injuries,
they musta been worse than I thought
I found him and he has been dead about two days as the critters are just starting on him.
I think I'll hafta set up in the early morning on his carcass and see what comes to feed....

that may not be a bad idea... even to sit out a night or 2 if the early morning doesn't turn anything up...
