Thanks guys! Been hunting this property all winter, lots of coyotes on it. The last 6 I called in and identified never gave me a shot. There so smart, even at night ,set up on a wide powerline they would never go in the open, they would work the wooded edge line in towards me or show up for a second and split. I had 2 sets lastnight barking and howling back and forth from dusk till I left at 9pm. Snow crunch has been terrible here for last few weeks so I just been sneaking in quietly where I could and been listening and calling. Today's warm temp and rain softened up that crunch enough that I could sneak in where they were lastnight and set up where I figured they would be. This one come in at the 10 minute mark at 1pm to a Bees O'Brien firefly call and got a good head shot on him with the 17wsm at 50 yds. Set back up this evening on the powerline where the other ones were lastnight with the 204 looking for that long shot but got fogged out and wet!!
