Coon, Turkey, Sportsman Show, Groundhog
« on: February 09, 2014, 08:44:08 AM »
Went to Harrisburg Sports show yesterday morning with son and his 2 friends.

Leaving son's friends house, 9am, I spotted a Coon coming out of a crick. We stopped and mud and water up over a snow bank. A well defined muddy trail on snow. Dang. Coon are breeding I told the guys.
1/2 mile up the road were 8 longbeards in daughter-in-law grandma's field very near road. Dang.
Returning home, we spotted a huge Groundhog near road. Guys couldn't believe it with 10"-12" snow pack on ground...lol. I told the guys, relax, it's Groundhog breeding season. Groundhogs are breeding now.
We had a great day for sure....

Hern, were there a lot of vendors that showed up?
Wall to wall vendors. Vendors also in hallways.
One of the young men I was with said he was really surprised at how many vendors showed and how well attended this day was. I said, Pennsylvania has a lot of sportsman that will support a hugh event .
