the water in the yard has gotten as high as it can go as it's accessed a low ditch across the yard and into the big ditch on the right side of the patch,  to drain off into the river...

cotton mouths and copper heads are always prone to be around here...  we even have a few of the cotton headed rattle mambas that Jasper has alluded to in the recent past...

if we use the standard 8" of snow equals an inch of rain, we had 5 ¾" total in the 2 days, so what? 46" of snow...  damn I hope not... I'll be out with John in the desert quickly...

  Sunshine in Michigan everyday    4 of my best fishing pals, were there everyday and caught fish consistently

  They are either Sawbils or Loons ...I opt for the latter since you call them your pals ....one loon to another!!

   It's Right behind the Power Plant at Elk Rapids  the water makes a left into the Marina and then right into Grand Traverse Bay-Lake Michigan.....
