"Goose"
I like to think of us as the Hawaii 5 "O" of the PPHA
Don't you find it just a little funny
that "Buckcheat" is slip sliding his way around the mountains
at the same exact time his STAR student "Lookn4Fishers" is "who knows where?
?" NO pictures,NO story,NO lame excuse
I think we need to dig deeper
I would never "bet" on anything
except you cleaning your plate at breakfast
But I bet he's trying to distract us and take some heat off his "pet"......you know how kids are
when they don't want to face the music
they try to end around you
.............I can hardly wait to utter "Book-UM- Danno Goose"........lol........POP's McGarrett........

GFish thank goodness at least you have been spared from those twisters
WOW!!Christmas for those folks sucks
60° now, not raining yet, but feels like it could
I've never skun a mink in a t-shirt outside in December before but today that changes

Pa Goosebumps
Part of my El Nino study is how the effects of these earthworms that are out all the time this year1 in December may affect mink movement.

had another sleepless night, got to bed at 7:30 this morning... that's what happens when I take Oxy to late in the evening, acts like speed to me... just happened to look at the thermometer it was 71°, those are summer time temps...
walked out on the deck this evening to fire up the grill and there was a tree frog out... I guess they're cornfused too...
when we do get twisters down here on the coast, they never seem to amount to much... it seems like they'll touch down and jump right back up, maybe a ½ mile or so, and not that powerful, normally only a class 1... we don't usually get them big rip roaring tear everything up for miles like they do out west...

Hey "Jumper" maybe I can help you with your mink study
This morning while sucking down coffee and chocolate chip cookies
I observed what was either a mink or a very small fisher cat
under the cover of fog
attempting to snag a robin
as it was removing earthworms from my driveway
........so from this I would say
that earthworms are causing mink movement towards driveways and changing their diets from muskrats to birdies...
...........hope this helps
and you are free to redistribute this helpful info in any format you desire......
............
PS: As a field staff member of the EWCalls Carnivore Headlamps Division,it's the least I can do to "Help You Out".....my Christmas presrnt to you!

Jasper
Thanks for the information. I know we're there is always Robins eating earth worms. I going to jump right on that spot. I hope this fog holds on, it will give me cover to sneak in a make some sets. That way all the people that walk there dogs there will not see me. You know how goofy them dog people are.
Merry Christmas and all my field staff people are just the best help to me. It might have taken me years to put the worms, birds and the mink together.
I wish all my field staff people were as observant as you.
PS sure hope it was not a Fisher you saw though I did not get a tag. You might want to pass this information to lookn4fur so he can catch a fisher.

I'm bettin those minx are going nutz in this warm wet weather and all the earthworms
I thinx Ernesto should put a trail cam on the bumper of his jitny so he can git some film of them in his driveway

I had 12 family members at the house today. Windows open and still too warm. Actually had to kick on the central air on Christmas day? That was a first I hope never to do again. I don't like it! Killing my hunting too!
