New Member Hunting in Berks
« on: March 21, 2013, 10:41:19 PM »
Hello Everyone,  Just joined up here and am new to predator hunting too.  I live in Berks county and am looking for some local spots where other have had some success.  My uncle and I have tried over around Blue Marsh with no results.  I'd would greatly appreciate any places you could recommend and any advice you can give.  Thanks!

Welcome to the PPHA.  I've found that with most places I hunt, all you have to do is be proactive and ask.  Getting permission to predator hunt is extremely easy compared to deer hunting.  I've only been turned down by one farmer and that was because his son was also into the calling.  The best advise to finding farms.....Just stop and ask!!

Dauphin County has alot of huntable ground for coyotes.  Berks gets trapped hard.
