I called one in last sunday when I was out for bobcat. I thought it was one of the coolest things i had ever called in. Knowing what I know I am kind of kicking myself in the but for not feeding it a 40gr. V-Max (I wouldn't really there is no hunting season for them).

A side story on this...several years ago my wife and I went for a two week vacation to VT. and then Conn.  while we were in Conn. (my wife for pictures, me for fishing) we stopped at a small ice cream place..While we were there the lady scooping sent one of her kids to catch "the cat" who had appeared in the yard..We laughed!  She got very serious...they had seen a Fisher Cat (that's what locals called them) and pet cats were going missing. She advised us that if we crossed paths with one to be cautious...as they were unpredictable and feared very little....I never saw one fishing there or hunting in Maine or New Brunswick but I have seen their little cousin the Pine Marten several times and they have attitude and think their 5X as big as they are...if they ever got a foothold here gray squirrels would go extinct...I watched one chase down one of those hyper squirrels they have in the north one time, it was remarkable.. 8)

Just think the only thing fast enought to catch and kill the super fast squirrel eating pine martin is a fisher that also eats squirrels and can catch and kill the pine martin. :o

For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

Just think what they are doing to our turkey population.  All the effort that went into getting it to where it is now, then stock a 15 lb animal that runs at night, eats meat and climbs like a squirrel.

They could easily follow a flock of youg turkeys and take one every night.
