will the new .17 hornet have enough power to kill a coyote?  if so i think im going to buy one of them they seem pretty sweet from what i've read and saw so far.  kicks like a 22 mag and flies like a 223!  thanks and goodluck

17 Fireball might be a safer choice.

I like the 223 for coyotes over the 204. I have yet to kill a coyote  with my 17 fireball and am not sure how it compares with the 17 hornet. The fireball is great for fox. If you shoot long ranges try the 220 swift.

I like the 220 swift. I had a really good one but sold it to pay for my truck repairs. I didn't feel like paying out of my bank account so I sold my gun for 950.00 and paid a 890.00 bill to fix my 4 wheel drive and some other issues. Thats what I get for driving a NIssan Titan. Nice truck but they sure do cost more if they need fixed. Now with a business to pay for and a possible property w cabin purchase coming up I can't replace the 220 swift. In fact I will go the other direction and sell a few if this deal goes.
