New Video - Close Enough
« on: December 28, 2011, 07:51:21 PM »
Check out this wily old mature coyote.  He proved to be a smart devil, playing it safe off in the distance and refusing to step foot into the fields.  Luckily, he was close enough for Paul who whacked and stacked his third in three days here in New York and finished off a great week of coyote hunting with a nice kill on video.

good shooting man, I'm planning to do a .22-.250 for Yote's. Looked like you had a little bit of a shot there but you spanked him. Big dog too. Great video.

Seeking coyotes
I too think the 243 is a great coyote cartridge. There would be no runners with it.

We usually stick to 22-250, in my opinion there is nothing better.

LOL
I knew that statement would get an answere.
But you know I talked to some guys that when there is money on the table in a coyote hunt or a pissed off farmer is paying the bill the 234 comes out.
Nothing wrong with the 22-250. Heck, I shoot a 17 rem.

I do agree with that, the last two kills we have had have been with that. 243 and they were deadly.
