My brother in law just bought one last year. He got it in the 22-250 very nice gun for the money. That is the predator venture. It did what they say it would shoot out of the box (moa 1") I think. He had to send his back due to some recall a member put on this site ( thanks for posting about the recall). He had it back in a couple of days and didnot cost him a dime. Very nice gun for the money.

Thanks for posting brushwolf. I'm looking at that rifle myself and was going to post the same thing. Did your brother get the scope combo or did he buy a separate scope?

I'm the one that posted about the recall your welcome. I sold mine it was in 204 Ruger didn't like the 204 I got bullet splash using 35 gr. Berger's @ about 3800 fps. I hit a black coyote about 40 yards away in the shoulder all I got was some fur seen the bullet hit then a bald spot couldn't believe it, then he turned around hit him again same thing, that was enough of Berger's for me.
The things I didn't like about the T/C Venture Predator rifle were the stock is to large around by the action and the bolt handle would open up when carrying the rifle in the brush or your arm would hit it when using a sling. The rifle is a good shooter.
By the was I still have a couple hundred new rounds a few once fired Win. and Rem. brass 150 Berger 35 gr. bullets and 100 Sierra 39 gr.  would trade for 243 Brass. Also a brand new set of Redding FL dies.

dibo, I am interested in your 204 ammo. I don't have 243 brass, etc to trade with, but if you have a price for what you have pm me.

I have the tikka t3 lite myself. I love it! What caliber are you thinking of getting? I bought it in the 25/06 for an all around caliber. Very accurate and lite to carry. Again great choice.

If you get one of these used be careful..My brother got one in .223 off the used rack at Cabela's, looked like it had never been fired camo model..guns that have been recalled and repaired have a punch mark on the trigger assembly, you have to pull the bolt to see this..I saw the recall notice here, so thanks for that post..Cabela's is sending it back for him today."OOps I guess we dropped the ball" I guess they did. Good thing is nobody got hurt or anything. Also don't go by TC online serial numbers,  my brothers wasn't on list but TC e-mailed him on his inquiry and said it apllied to his rifle also..

Yeah, I was disappointed in my distributor also.  I came upon the recall after this years antlered deer season, just to tell the story of my Venture.  Low and behold I seen the recall.  Needless to say they sent me the shipping label and I sent it off.  I had my gun back within a week.  I was very impressed with T/C's turn around time and so was FED-Ex.  The guy came up on my deck and was said "I just picked this up the other day."

Back to the distributor, you would of thought they had the names and addresses of their customers who purchased the Venture and should have let them know of the recall.  That's just good business.

i have the venture predator package in a 22-250 and it shoots as advertised.  i had to send mine back for the recall which was a chore but had it back in under a week.  if you are trying to get a venture they might be tough, from my understanding they shut down production of these guns so they can just work on the recalls.  not sure when they will start production again.

T/C Facebook page says they are still running production, problem is they just need to fill the distributors again and fix the recalls already there.
