Incredible hunt
« on: May 30, 2011, 09:43:29 AM »
I couldn't sleep so at 330am I grabbed my shotgun and went out into the woods to try and call in a yote...

I sat out in a slight depression watching this field... The birds were singing and [turkey gobbing, where were they last month  ] About 6:15 here comes a grey fox, he charged my position to within 50 feet of me... He sniffed around for about 5 min before he left... I waited about a half hour and started calling again and here comes ANOTHER grey fox... I was thinking, wow, this is awesome when I see the 3rd grey coming into my set up... All 3 came from different directions... To ME= calling in 3 fox on 1 set was AWESOME

I never fired a shot, but had a very INCREDIBLE HUNT
Thanks for the read fellows

Thats a good day in my book.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!
