ok i think i have it narrowed down to these 2 lights which 1 would you go with 1st one i woudnt need to buy another bulb or figure out a way to make it red but its more money 2nd one is pretty cheap but would have to make it a red light buy getting another bulb or something

I like the RED LED one you referenced the best..

The white would be good for finding an animal after your shot.   Unless you  can find a red LED bulb the you can change out yourself.. Then it would be an outstanding light for hunting predators..

a white light can be easily built that will project a beam a few hundred yards.  i have built a few, the red LEDs are a little harder.  i think the LED in the kill light is a cree P4.  i prefer the white light for a shooting light, you can clearly see what you are shooting.  not just those big eyes.

That light sounds like a good deal to me I think I'm going to have to invest in one what did they say the battery life will be on it ? And yea I have a 230 lumen gander mountain white flashlight that is really bright and I think that will be my shooting light and whichever red light I get will be the scanning light
