Yep that raskel got me for three traps with fur in them.. >:( If I could have gotten my hands on him I probably wouldn't be typing this...the man would have locked me up 8)...It just burns my tail that someone can be that %#@!*& nasty!!! What's even worse is that I had a son and dad team along teaching them the ropes...well that lesson was an easy one to teach :P..They couldn't believe it...we checked my traps at the break of dawn and that "Johnnie Sneakim" musta been there just before dawn....I wanted to lay a big coni over a muskrat I had caught in a trap hoping he would stick his hand through...but I didn't....Sure would like to have caught him with the goods since the camera was along....

I had that happen to me quite a few times when trapping...They took the trap, the fox and everything...Jim like I always said:  "Not All Men Are Created Equal!" Some mom and dad sure did not raise their kid the right way.. Look at some of the kids that get in trouble and then look at their parents.. Kids are doomed right off from who raised them.. Someone sure did not raise this person correctly..  However in my 62 years...I have seen people do things to people and they get paid back by the Almighty down the road...He gets them real good too....

I don't know what it is when people find a critter in a trap or a trap...A Syndrome prevails and they figure the trap is theirs.  Sad to when people use box traps... People see them and they feel finders keepers!!!!!

What I would do is report it the PGC. They may stumble on someone out there and when they check the traps they have..They may find you tag still attached to it...

I know how you feel...
This is what the PGC told me years back...Report all stolen property to the State Police or Township Police. I do follow up and call our local PGC Warden.

I remember way back when my Britt rolled in someones trapping set.. He had this smile on his face too as he rolled back and forth in it until the trap sprung and gave him a nip in his back... I felt bad because the dog wrecked someone trapping set..  I took a stick and wrote in the mud..SORRY!!!!!!Then continued to hunt...With one stinky Lured Up DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Stuff like that happens but you never take another mans trap!!!!!!!
