This years youth field day is June 5 2010
For the past couple of years my brother and I have set up the predator hunting and calling both for PPHA at this event. This booth has been a great thing for the up and coming young hunters as well as the fun we have teaching kids. Member in district two may want to volunteer some of there time to help at this event or bring a child for the day. These field days are always looking for people to help in any one of the events there. Kids get to set traps, blow predator calls, cast fly rods,shoot black powder and shot guns, learn how to fish in a pond, woodsmenship, safety and how to start a survival fire, see beagles run, shoot a bow. I can go on but you get the point, so maybe you might also get involved.
If you would like to help and maybe make a difference in a child understanding the outdoors give me a call. I will try and find something there for you to do and have fun at the same time. Who knows the people teaching this stuff are all very good at what they teach, you might even learn something your self.
