Just back from deer hunting trip to Northern Maine with brother....saw a nice 9 point while scouting Sunday before hunt.....never saw him again..
But more importantly there was a ton of coyote sign everywhere we went...Housekeeper at camp where we stayed showed us a picture of an all white coyote (not an albino) that a local trapper had caught. Unfortunately the Maine rules for coyote hunting are not as liberal as here in Pa. no night hunting....until Jan to apr. with a 4 dollar permit.....also no Sunday hunting. We tried several times with no success but I would like to do that again...To bad its a 13 hr trip...Also we learned that electronic calls for deer, etc. were legal....next time we will have one with us..
