20 ga for fox??

Would a 20 ga chambered for 3" mags work for fox? Would like to get one of those rifle/shotgun combos, but the only ones I can find with the 17 hmr rifle are 20 ga. anyone know of a 22 mag or 17 hmr over a 12?

the problem using a 20ga is the only buckshot loaded for it is the #3 buckshot, which is a size to big for here in PA... if you load your own with #4 buck it'd work just fine...

I have a 222/20. they make all sorts of combos. What caliber are you looking for? Savage and remington spartan I think our the best price. Look at gunbroker or auction arms, ebay for guns they are.  I have fired alot of different shotgun rounds and found a couple I like for yotes. I have to get back to you on the names of the ammo.

I was trying to find a 22 mag or 17 hmr over a 12 ga, I have seen them over a 20 ga only. Do you know if Savage or anyone else makes one of these caliber rifles over a 12ga? Thanks

try the on line auctions, any sporting good place should be able to order you one. I would call around to get prices. I believe there is  a gun show nov 18-19 somewhere, the last one I went to had a couple savages.
