Def looking into going to this show, a weekend in Ohio could be interesting. I think the booth idea would be a great idea, even if we just grab a few new members that are close to the PA line and would be interested in coming out for an event. I figure we've already got some members from NY and VA, why not OH?

I think it just would be lot nicer if PPHA members had a booth there even it is just for people to set down and talk or set there stuff when they are walking around. Yes, you can sell memberships and that would be nice but not necessary. This could be just a representation to show that PPHA is a leader in this sport and support this type of event. Remember the guys that have booths there are the guys that have lead the way in this sport and will continue to do so. PPHA is one of the best leaders in this sport so we might as well have fun and have a booth there.

I agree with BW, the PPHA should have some type of representation there. Quality exposure for the PPHA is very valuable. Like BW said, the leaders of the industry will all be there. I can't think of a better group of professionals to associate with. Knowing the right people can open a lot of doors.

I also agree...............Tim

i'm ALL for having a booth there.  8)

but, if we are to hold a booth i suggest (and will even design & build) a great display booth for the PPHA. somthing besides our rinky-dink banner and two folding chairs. maybe a tri-fold cloth covered background with pictures & info on what the PPHA has accomplished in the last 8yrs, tv monitor with slide show & video's and than some....

if we're gonna do it....let's do it up right! give ourselves a more proffesional appearance.

whad'ya say?

I would love to see some new merch for sale (and wear). I can't find anyone to help me bring these designs to life. I can't draw and my friend who can is so busy with doing tattoo's and the family thing that he's taken to working on Sundays.

Woody, if you want to put something like that together, i'm with ya on it. It would look a great deal better with a professional and organized look. I would be very excited to talk to the leaders in the industry and look for some new hunting contacts. Friend of mine had made a contact from a hunting show, he lives in ILL deer country and says he'll trade a weekend bow hunt at his place for a weekend stay at my buddies for some fine susquehanna smallmouth fishin. I kinda wish I had met the guy, jeeze!

That is a great idea!! Money would be the first question? I believe we would have to wait and see who is running for office for the 2010 year to get that answere on money.  But that sounds like a good start.

Um now if PAPHA could charter a bus and get a block of hotel rooms near by now that would be neat... It's No Hurry To Take The Bus And Leave The Driving To Us".  Um that use to be the old greyhound commercial...  It could depart from somewhere in the Eastern part of the state (Harrisburg) stop let say at Breezewood  then stop in Western Pa like Monroeville  before it went on to Ohio.. Kind of maintain the Pa Turnpike run accross the state...Or maybe interstate 80 with different stops in E,C, W part of Pa??????
Just doing a little brain storming.....
