WrestlingHarley,

lookin forward to seeing you and your family yet again this year. 8) thanks for attending!  ;)

4.5hr drive leaving @ 7am.(guess i should go to bed now eh? lol) but you dont hear me complaining.

so far it seems like the only member from the western portion of the state is attending.... ??? how many members who voted for a western locale in the mailed out poll are attending besides Leglifter? all this hoopla about picnic locations being partial to the eastern members and all.....hmmmmmmmmm. i know things come up with family and all.....this is a prime reason right here that maybe the annual picnic might have to go to the wayside...seems its just not that much of a draw for members anymore like it used to be. or maybe not...seems the ones who want to be there no matter the location will attend. if ya'll from the east wanna meet members from the west and vise-versa...COME TO THE EXPO!  :) putting faces and characters with the names we all see in here everyday is what its all about. you'd be very surprised just how someone is in person than in here on the internet. face to face interactions/activities, wether it be picnics or hunts is what this organizations was started for. we need to get back to that...yes?

to the folks that are attending...ya'll drive safe now on the roads ya'hear?!?!?!

 ;)

p.s.~ for those that'll be out with the string and stick(Swarter)..hope you get a dandy. i wanna see pic's!!! ;D

your right woody, and i will be the first to admit,i wanted to see it in the west.

I have a wedding or i would be there.

But notice when its in the west, not many easterners, showin up.
Just as i said would happen.
And picnic turnouts are not very good from what ive seen years past.
I agree on th expo to meet friends from across the state, but i think districts should hold there own picnics.

ll,had a wedding, and both sides of my family goes back to the Hatfields, and McCoys,so most family functions turn out as you would think.

Well would have liked to have made it to meet you bever county fellows atleas.

Longhair even offered to drive, but i just couldnt miss the wedding,as it was my nephews, and we are pretty close.

plus i had to bartend, george almost had me talked into going but family comes before my hunting, because they are the ones i mostly hunt with.

Hope everyone had a great time looks like a nice bunch of guys and gals.

wished I could have made it.  I just had 5 different things that were going on yesterday and couldn't make it.  looks like ya had a good time.  I see a lot more guys from the central districts.  in fact I assume that probably bob was the only westerner.  I know george was saying about going.  hopefully he made it.  thing is the guys that showed to the picnic I am pretty sure have been to the picnic for the years before.  like I said there is allways the same ten to twenty people that show up each year that shows their dedication no matter how far they need to travel.  looks like from the photos these are who was in attendance.

leglifter
woody
hern
coyotelord
mountianfox
wrestlngharley
coyotejeff
and tom purves.

there may be more though that I did not see.

looks like a few brought their family with them too.  so trophies only looks like more eastern members showed to a western event.  Just saying.

edit to add that I might have missed someone.  I wished I coulda been there.  this was the first picnic I have missed.  I know they had great weather for it.

I had a good time and a Big THANK YOU to LegLifter for doing the cooking and bringing his gas grill.

Everyone brought wondergood cover dishes. We sure ate good. I ate homemade pie I never heard of before. Very tastey.
Heard plenty of storys and jokes. Good time.
The state meeting was was jammed pack with new ideas, doing more raffles,  reordering new shirts, hats with possibly a new design and an outline with Woody's agenda for the upcoming year.
My hat is off to the the past officers for a good job and hard work.
I will support the new officers and help out when needed.
