Yep, 70-74 air force. Jet mech on f-4's. Three TDY tours in Ubon,Thailand.

I served, 61-64, US Army infantry. As my ETS neared I thought to re-up if I could get helicopter school (Warrant Officer). Was turned down, so I left and went home. Joined the PD , and here I am, older and retired.  Guess I was lucky. A lot of choppers went down.

dreamcatcher, i know a lot of things went down including the small arms weapons i had to repair. P.S you should know these metals well.

another gunner in my platoon hit a trotting coyote at 2800m with a sabot main gun round in Yakima, WA. talk about a green mist through the thermal imaging sight....geesh! (he did catch he77 for that stunt though...didn't know a full bird was in the range tower... )
