Donation to the PPHA.
« on: April 16, 2008, 08:00:34 PM »
Get your money out for the PPHA seminar.  I am donating this piece to the PPHA to auction off.

The base is pine and it's stained and laquered.  There is also dirt and two Fall Oak leaves on it.
The antlers are Whitetail and Fallow deer with a coyote print and PPHA, 2008 dremeled into the Fallow deer antler.
The Red Fox skull was donated by Franks Skull Cleaning (AKA: Derek Frank).
The Custom Call is segmented with 22 pieces of wood consisting of, Curly Maple, Walnut and Padauk.  It is voiced with a JC Products Dual Stainless over Mylar Reed and tuned for a raspy Cottontail.
This is a fully functional two piece call and may be my best to date and does she ever sing.

The dirt is still wet in the picture but I was so excited to finish it I had to take some pictures.  I hope you all enjoy it and happy bidding at the auction.........Tim

Tim,

That's a great piece!

You deserve a big hats off and a round of applause for this one.  I hope others appreciate the time, $$$, and effort you put into this.  That's a super nice gesture!

Thanks as well to Derek for the skull donation!
