Not near like the southern part of the state, but we have them. Pre-coyote, I would catch about 4 to 1 grey over red. Within the past probably 7 to 10 years, it has changed to 4 to 1 red over grey. My red count is still close to the same, but the greys have off dropped dramatically.
One thing I've noticed also is the reds moved into the brush here. Don't catch near as many in the open anymore. Not sure if the coyotes actually have anything to do with this stuff, but it seems that way.
Last 2 years I've caught close 1 coyote for every 3 fox. I really would like my grey fox back :cry:
