Trying to Locate weapons
« on: December 05, 2017, 08:06:17 PM »
This is a shot in the dark but here goes. I'm trying to track down some weapons that were sold privately and I'm trying to track them down. I won't get into how I had to sell the weapons but suffice it to say the Veteran's court here in Pa. really helped me and my legal problems. I'm now legally allowed to purchase weapons again and these are heirloom weapons and I'm willing to pay double what the owner paid for them. Here are the weapons.
1967 Mod 70 Win. 270 Ser#751910
1967 Mod 70 Win 308 Ser#859093
L.C. Smith Double Barrel Field Grade 16 ga. Ser# Unknown
1967 Rem 870 16 ga. Ser#977170W
Yes I've contacted the ATF and no help there.
My local Police are reluctant to help unless I grease some palms. And the dealer they were surrendered to is no longer in business. Needless to say any help would be greatly appreciated. I also surrendered about 30 other weapons but they were only for investments and really don't care about them. The weapons were wholesaled by a dealer to an auctioneer. I was compensated by the dealer when he wholesaled them so it wasn't a total loss. Just heart break for these 4 particular weapons. Thanks from a 100% disabled vet.
