Guess I use a modified version of that method when hunting fox...my main light is on a tri-pod and I stay behind it...I must say it does have a halo.....my gun light is on the bottom of the barrel of my shotgun with a sun shade/halo eliminator tube on the light. I guess iffin I put a shade on my head light
