I have seen coyotes come into a very passive whimper sound that I still am not sure if another coyote does it or a grey does it. first I seen a coyote do it. and then last winter i had two greys call back and forth to each other doing it.

"Coyote pack howling" the first sound in the sequence sounds like the whoop. but a little high pitched
