nortpete.    You shouldn't have to travel far. I've taken some greys around the Titusville/Hydetown area. Not so much around agricultural fields. More so around grass fields bordering thick scrubby cover. Seems that they prefer the thick stuff that's no fun to walk through IMO.

In the early days of my calling I'd call in reds to begin with and then I'd say. Well I guess I'm going to go pick up a couple grays before I quit hunting... They were abundant  on a few farms I hunted on.. Now they are far and few between in my area of Pa.  I call a few in during the season but not like the old days... Problem is when they develop land in put in big warehouses...
