110 conibear question

need some help,  i am new to trapping, going to trap muskrat, mink, coons, and fox.   i have a pond i will be able to trap. my question is:  does the 110 conibear have to be fully submerged in the water, if not, how much of the trap can be sticking up?  i cannot find it on the pa game commission web site or the book?

if I'm remembering correctly, all it says is it needs to be set in a waterway... nothing about being fully submerged...

the conibear needs to be set within the water way---check with ur local game warden----some wardens say they need to be set in the water  some say within the banks---some say in the flood plane of the water way--its alittle confusing of a law  hope this helps alittle
