Am I correct in assuming this is a bobcat track?

Yes,,,,its a bobcat.   A Cat track has 3 lobes on the pad, plus they will not have any claw marks at the end of the toes.  A cat track  is also more rounded.

Nice bobcat track. That is one worth following to see if he lives there or just passing through.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

We had a really big female with two young around the area.  Im curious if this could be her.  The flock of turkeys we had all but disappeared.

Could be a male cat traveling though.

After posting this I have been paying attention to this area.  It seems this cat frequents this ridge alot.  The last fresh snow he was all over the creek and thicket.  Hopefully he will cooperate when the season starts.

Yep, now you can hunt that area with confidence. Also notice were he went when it snowed. Still does not mean you will get him. But all good tracking information.
