it was pretty nice actually except for the belly and chest area were alittle thin. Look at the pic close and you can see it's alittle pink.

Thats a nice size coyote ultramag, well done. With a single domain howl were you hoping for a vocal response?

More often than not I dont get a vocal response, usually they show up to check it out. Some will come right in and others will leave the area,I'm not sure if it scares less dominant coytes or what but it's been a proven killer for me over the past few years.

Also until fox season starts I'll use mostly coyote vocals,or atleast fire off one howl at first. It seems to keep most fox at bay instead of coming in to disturb my set...... ;)

I hunted New York this past weekend for coyotes.  Caught a glimpse of two different yotes but no takers.  Friday and saturday was difficult hunting with rain and high winds but I still managed to have fun.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

Yep weather has not been the best,I've spent more time watching the radar than hunting so far this season...
