Reds from the weekend
« on: February 02, 2011, 08:03:27 PM »

Here is some pics from this past weekend where I targeted reds specifically.  Had quite a few intersted even though the conditions were not the best at times.  Good luck to you PPHA!

I shot more than I actually posted.  Some were taken with a 17 Mach IV shooting 20 grain Hornady Vmax bullets and some were shot with a 12 Gauge using Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote 3 inch (T) shot.  I had an intersting weekend for it being late season.  Most were singles and the action was more often close than far.  Very easy pickens when they are 30 yards and under.

Congrats.  I like the one with the fox standing up.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

Kyle, Actually most of these were from eastern PA.  I do several trips over there each year and hunt my way back across the state.  Its always a good time.
