In hunting, the reality is that missing happens and unfortunately it always seems to happen to Andy, aka "Mrs. Coyote".

Everyone misses  ;)  How far was it?  Dont lie now... ;D.  Maybe switching to challenge howl or something might of brought it closer??

Seems it was hangin up and not too interested.

Sorry about the miss.  Curious why you didn't try some more calling especially a ki-yi or death cry?
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

You guys should give the Calling competition a try at the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show.

We sat there for a little over an hour....we usually do this on our evening stands seeing how we usually only do one a night.
