Got out to my stand at 5:30. Had enough by 4:00. Did not want to shoot after that, too close to dark. Did not see one all day, lots of tree rats though.  All I was thinking about was how many stands I could get in in 10 hours.

Samuel, The PGC claims your not getting far enough off the road!  Those  deer that get hit by cars are gone by the time deer season rolls around.

Gee Bp,

I built my stand right off one of those deer signs, you know the yellow pendot signs with the monster buck on it.   :?  I guess they do not mean much.

Dale & I took his junior hunter Andy up to Lehigh county for a deer hunt.
Saw 2 does, but no doe tags.
It was nice to get out and carry my ole 99er around....

We stopped at the range, the 99 is still on target.
Andy shot her and did real good with the iron sights....

Introduced the lad to Yacco's....
It was a nice day afield.
