The 4 Tenner in a 12 OR 20 SS or OU

Anyone ever insert one of them 4 Tenner adaptors that allows you to shoot 410 shells in your 12, 20 or 28 gauge?  Got to be a break open shotgun..Single, side by side or Over and Under.

I have a set for the 12 and a set for the 20 but have yet to try mine out yet.  Probably when the grandchild starts to tote the side by side  it will work fine for rabbits or squirrels called to the gun...Kids going to be big...He probably won't want to shoot a 410.  he will want a 10 gauge...2 + years old and already 39 inches high.......

I love the .410 for Rabbits.
Am still using my Stevens .410, single shot. My first gun at age 12.
I have my older brother's .410 double barrel, Stevens, too.

Last Saturday, during a snow storm I went 3 for 3 on Rabbits.
Then neighbor, his 2 sons and one of the boys friend and I went. No dogs. Just hit'n the briars with snow on the ground. We had a great time.
13 Rabbits and 1 Ringneck.
I gave the boys (and neighbor) a short talk after the hunt.
I recommended they purchase single shot, shotguns...LOL.
Man-O-Man, the shoot'n going on...LOL...
always boom-boom or boom-boom-boom or boom-boom-boom, boom-boom!!
I didn't count, but we musta had 30+ Rabbits out last Saturday.

Went for Rabbits yesterday with the nephew, home on leave from the Marines. He can shoot and could shoot when he was young.  We killed 5 Rabbits. No dogs. Musta had 12-15 Rabbits out. I love my .410 single shot.

I have fond memories of the rabbit hunts after Christmas...Get up early and walk 4 miles out to the woods in Wilkes-Barre...Walking down or up  a street on my way to one of my favorite Scrub Oak areas...Single shot 20 under my arm and a Beagle on a leash in the other..My cousin with a 410 Mossberg pump.... Wow memories.....Old TICK....My beagle name.... Bringing a rabbit around to us and my cousin dropping one after the other with that little 410 bolt action Mossberg...Something about Northeastern Pa Scrub Oak, a Beagle, a 410 shotgun and a few obliging cottontails....

Stoeger makes a nice little 410 side by side (Hammerless Coach Gun).  Choked Improved Cylinder and Modified...Thing looks like a toy....Barrel must be only 20 inches?  Would be excellent for rabbit hunting with a beagle or in thick stuff or shooting down your hallway........
