Welcome Aboard
« on: February 03, 2009, 10:41:32 AM »
I am a new member. I hunt PA and NY. My primary residence is in Wallkill, NY. Ulster county at least until I retire.... I have been hunting in region1 several times this season without success. Can someone tell me the results of the statewide hunt and how to find some pictures from that hunt?

Rl...welcome to the site......the pictures are in the members section (not sure if your just a web member or a PPHA member)

District 2 and District 6 tied this year with only 1 fox in each district.

We had horrible conditions this year throughout the state, from deep snow, to sheer ice.
I think the amount of participation we had in this hunt was great given the conditions.

We did have some other fox shot but the proper gesture was not given in a pic, so it could not qualify.
Also had quite a bit of members calling in, just didnt complete the deal.

Again.....welcome to the site, and hopefully a possible member  ;D

Hi
I'm not sure you received my reply. I am from Ulster County NY just south of the Catskills. I have a place in the Poconos and I try to get out in the woods on the weekends when I am there. I have not had any luck...not even a fox called in to date. Quite honestly I don't see a lot of sign. I have limited knowledge of the area and like anything else this will require some time. On your question regarding the members only site- I think I can see it and I am a member. I was looking for some photos of the state wide hunt and all I can see is the test site. If there is another location I haven't found it.

Welcome to FOX WORLD. If you need lessons on calling give me a ring. If you need lessons on shooting don't call predator 77 or muttbuster. If you need help on drinking beer call BP.
