I'm digging the boots.  Congrats little man on some nice fish.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

Nice job.  If those boots brought him that kind of luck,  I don't blame him for always wearing them.

Had the boys out this weekend at the Tom's Run kids derby. The older boys in the morning, one caught his limit and one refused to fish. Then took the 4 yr old out after nap time and did he ever get his money's worth. Little guy had the fight with a fish like I've never seen! His little iron man rod was definitely put to the test. Hunter fought it like he's been doing it forever, listened to my advise and swung him right in the net! Little guy was outta breath but the smile never left his face! One proud daddy to say the least.
17inches long and 11" around the belly.

those are some fine looking fish... hope you got more photos  of him catching them...

I was able to get a few of the catch from a buddy who was on the other side of the creek. this kid has been a fishing machine this year, has me out 3-4 nights a week, always asking to go, so we go!
