Night Eyes F6

My friends and I went to camp this weekend in Somerset County for coyote hunting. Not much was moving and we didn't get any response to the FoxPro. Saturday night we packed up the call and were ready to head in when I decided to do one more scan with the Night Eyes. Sure enough 4 eyes. They were possums, about 65 yards out. The Night Eyes lit them up clear as day. I highly recommend the Night Eyes for any night hunter!

I would hope so at 65 yards.  If not I would throw that light in the trash.  Night Eyes is a good light. 

On a side note, coyote hunting can be even more tough this time of year.  I like you travel to camp to hunt coyotes.  Do yourself a favor and instead of hunting for them, scout and locate.  Once located, set up and hunt them.  Sometime you have to scout all weekend and only get one set in but at least you know you are calling to coyotes.  Beats cold calling all weekend with no eyes.  Not that you can't be successful doing that.

Remember, you may hear them vocalizing off at a distance or once they bust you, but most coyotes come in silent!

i love the night eyes scanning light........   i am the exact opposite, i would rather cold call an area

Thanks for the tips! We saw some tracks coming from a thick area where we were set up. With snow on the ground it was our best bet. After the possums went down we did see some more eyes in  the wood line later on. We believe they were a coyote, since he was gone as quick as he showed up.
