How's the mast crop in your area?

I was up in Clinton County and there is a lot of mast crops.
What is it like in your area?

Crop is so good in my area that the squirrels are offering me their acorns and walnuts  ::) ::) ::) ::) they figure that poor deer hunter needs fud  :P :P :P :P

The places I check out for bear sign is looking pretty good.
More bears at the spots then I seen in a while.
It's a shame I don't want to kill them with a bow. Well I should say I would like to kill a bear with a bow, I just don't know what to do with it after I shot it.

I know about the work.  I have taken a few Pa bear. That is why I am not interested in shooting one. I love the hunt for bear but after the shot the work starts. I do not even have a 4 wheeler any more. Shame is 25 years ago I would have never even thought about the work. LOL

Ernie,  sad part is,  I feel the same way about shooting a deer now a days.   I guess I'll stick with fox....  Much easier to drag !!!

Come on you are not that old!! Deer are not that heavy.LOL
Just do not hunt in a hard spot to get them out.

 that's me anymore when I park I stay at the same level or go up hill so the drag is on the level or down hill... shoot a heavy enough caliber to anchor them straight off, so they can't run down hill...

 in case of emergency take a tarp for shelter, salt and pepper and eat'em where they drop...   8)
