Anyone else extremely excited for Spring Gobbler??

I'm starting to get spring fever. Turkey hunting hasn't left my mind for about 2 weeks... is this normal?

I haven't hunted spring gobbler in like 10 years.  I may however go this year.  I pulled out my box calls and slates to refinish.

Spring gobbler means 2 things to me.

1) the debate of using vaca now to hunt them or hold it til archery season

2) aching knees fromrunnin and gunnin



It's a blast though, no doubt

Im stoked as well. Looking to call another hog of a tom in this year and just maybe be the shooter. The wife hates turkey's so of course that means I need to have one gobbling on a branch in the corner of the living room.

There's just something about hunting turkey that I really enjoy! and takemrarely I have the same problem! Can't decide when to burn up my off days, all I know is I will be hunting whenever I take them
