I just really started last year hunting fox with 2 of my buddy's. We all bought 204 and went out a couple times. We killed I think 11 fox and only blew 2 or 3 up enough that we didn't skin them all depends where you hit. Most have a pin hole in and no exit I shot the hornady 32 grain vmax. All of our kills last year were between 100-400 yards none that were hit took another step. So just like most guns depends on the shot but I love the gun.

One of my buddies got the .204 because he lives in the Northeast and mostly hunts coyotes.  When hunting fox he takes all head shots with the gun.  He is very happy with the .204.

The only thing about the gun is it is very loud. I don't mind it but I'm sure there are people that do. When your having that night and the fur never stops coming till the sun comes up.
