Chester County – 1 or 2 open spots on leased land
« on: March 01, 2013, 11:06:21 AM »
I have 1 or 2 openings if anyone is interested.  The land is in Chester County, 125 acres.  Lease just started in Feb. So it goes from Feb 2013– Feb 2014.  125 acres, mostly farm land boarding some woods with a creek that runs through it.

Perfect spot for Geese, ducks and deer.  However, also great for fox.  The farmer is going to stop contracting out with a fox trapper, so we can hunt fox during fox season.  It is limited to 6 hunters.  So it will be private, not over hunted, etc.  Less than $400 per year per hunter.  Includes hunters insurance.

The farmer has not seen any coyotes, but I am going to give that a try and see what happens.
If you have any interest and want more details, please send me an email to jstein@elpspda.com

How many guys are hunting the lease?  Sounds great if I were closer...that is a nice piece of property.

Only 6 hunters max permitted on the lease in total.

Land is tough to find in Chester County to hunt.  Of course it is not like hunting on the Western part of the state, but for those of us that live near Chester County, it is nice to have something close by, for the days you are not traveling hours to other parts of the state.

I was there today.  I did not see any snow geese, but could have called in a lot of canadian geese.

My 6 & 10 year old pointed out lots of deer tracks to me near the edge of the woods (field was pretty muddy, so there were perfect tracks).
