Off to Canada
« on: August 08, 2012, 07:29:00 AM »
Leaving for northern Ontario on Friday. What fun! Eat Sleep and Fish! For a whole week! Doing some wilderness camping in a pristine environment thats 2 hrs of driving from the closest house. Gotta love it. One week sleeping in a tent with only the moose, bears, wolves, and loons for neighbors. 10 miles of driving through brush getting more scratches on my Titan to get to a lake where the walleyes just love to grind their teeth on jigs. Catching 40 inch speeding pike and super heavy smallmouths. All the fresh fish I can possibly eat. Another adventure just waiting to happen! Past adventures include beaver climbing in the boat, bears swimming past, watching moose, lynx stalking me, catching loons, listening to wolf packs howling, watching otters, mink, and beavers and learning from the way they go about their lives, setting around a campfire, and enjoying God's creation that hasn't yet been destroyed from pollution. Simply can't wait....

That sounds like a great adventure.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.
