looks real good. so...i gotta ask...hows that antler smell when being shaped on the lathe? i can remember the smell from drilling holes in the bases of my rattling antlers years ago...YUCK!

I'm way past the smell.  I don't smell the antler at all anymore.  Now that you mention it I really don't smell anything anymore. :shock:

I've tinkered around with wood turned calls but I always go back to the antler.  I like working with the antler the most, I don't think you'll see to many wood calls from me in the future.

Nice job BM.  Keep your tools sharp for antler.  Lets see some wood mated with antler.  I know you have it in you....D3
