got this off a cruelty to animals site.  am I worried you bet.  pa hunters have become a target.

Hunting Statistics

Affliction... a movie in which a hunter's death is thought to have been murder
masked as an accident
Wm Sullivan.. number 3 man at the FBI after JFK's murder... was shot in a
residential neighborhood... by a NJ State trooper.. termed a hunting accident

Hunters
1. shoot themselves falling down, tripping over fences
2. shoot others.. while drunk or mistaking a human for a deer
3. shoot others... nonaccidentally
4. shoot children... sitting in their living rooms... as stray bullets go awry
5. shoot children in the face sometimes
6. is a first step to serial killing... serial killers generally have objectification
of living animals in their backgrounds

hunting is down 37% this year in the state with the most hunters.. Pennsylvania..
with 9% of the population

God bless America and all places with a firefall of Spirit
“If you want to know all about a man, go camping with him. Probably you think you know him already, but if you have never camped on the trail with him, you do not”. Eldred Nathaniel Woodcock. “Fifty Years a Hunter and Trapper.”

Couldn't agree with you more Ben...It seems the longer we go, the worse it gets..What we need to do is some how identify and ostracize those individuals that shoot non-target animals, never check their back drop before shooting and other moronic behaviour. This is impossible to do of course, so we are all helpless victims when they go over the line and make front page news..Chief of police in Cumberland Co. where two houses were hit , suggested homeowners post their property against hunting..Property owner in another incident was being held 10% responsible for stray shot from hunter on his property...and might have to fork over more if actual shooter can't make payment on court settlement..now that makes others nervous and right away they will start to post also..Don't have an answer, but i do know one thing this bad ink is compounded in the politically correct society we live in today..A few bad apples are going to wreck it for us all, what a shame. :(
