Here is some lucky daylight set ups I made in the past using red fox distress sounds.
After spotting a red in this location in the evening while bow hunting. I went back a couple days later and set up like this anticipating her in the same spot prior to sun down. Sound was red fox distess for about 9 minutes
This set up like the last one was a afternoon/evening set up with the moon out during the day.
Sound was red fox pup. The darker green in a steep valley that they have been known to den in.
This last set up was in Jan. I just ordered my Foxpro FX5 and was excited about using a red fox sound since I figured most fox haven't heard a fox distress coming from any hunters before. Again, this was a middle of the day hunt and the call was placed about 75 yards from me and at the 4 o'clock position.
Yes, I was laying in the open field on my belly when this last one happend.
