It may be tougher, but they don't go inside and hide, they still eat and they're still afield. Just gotta get 'em

No they are callable...However if your going with someone hope they are seasoned and know what to do.. Like hiding in the shadows of the tree line,  not even going out into the fields at all.  Call just where it's legal,  Using gray colored camo or gray clothes... No lights from farmer's houses, barn, and or telephone poles behind you. Stand in front of equipment, bale of hay, brush, etc..If the Full Moon is real bad you might even have to use the yellow lens too... The Harvest Moon which is the one that it is ...Seems to be brighter.. Hence the name of it since farmers would work by the light of this moon to harvest crops... Just something that might help is the young first of the year fox might be  a bit dumber then their parents and come in a bit easier...

its looking like this will be good weather for the opener in a long time.  I think the past two years it was really windy/rainy.  weather forcasts are calling for mostly clear.  Def gonna be bright out there.  hunt the fields like you would during the daytime.  Red bull, vitamin water, and 5hour energy's will be my friend sat morn.

Bring it on!  I've been waiting for this for a long time.
"Predators are either active & feeding, semi-active & callable, or utterly inactive & then practically speaking, no call is needed; we're just taking our guns for a walk. We can & should get used to it, & follow their leed cuz they just ain't eager nor apt to follow our’s any time soon!

I always try to make the opener... Rain or shine.. Right now I'm into my last phase of charging my larger batteries and Primos portable 1,000,000 spot light...Larger battery is two of those (RALLY BOOST BATTERY)  battery jump starter for your car or one that can run small appliances.. It can run my FX5 if need be with decoy or work a regular spot light that only has a cigarette lighter adapter on the power cord. Neat that you can make a auto spot light adaptable with a battery like this... Look for them in your store travels.  The pop covers for the Q Beam and the Primos can be purchased in the Camping Department of Basspro Harrisburg, Pa... Come two to a pack..One yellow and one red lens...$4.85.

Clear Skye's and full moon. Could be interesting.
For a brief moment I could hear nature through all the noise.

The conditions aren't the best and the furs not prime but it sure will feel good to get out.At least the temperature will be comfortable.

Good luck to all you PA hunters!  Hunt that full moon hard, we have our best success during the full moon...maybe because that is the only night hunting we do :P
